Welcome to the San Angelo Police Department’s Fundraising Page.
We are on a mission to provide awareness and education about testicular cancer, the most common cancer in males ages 15-35. Testicular cancer is curable if detected early so education and early detection are key!
Our Department is taking a challenge to raise funds for the Testicular Cancer Foundation. We ask that you join us for this No-Shave November challenge, the Beard Patrol, where for $25 a pay period, male officers are permitted to grow goatees and beards for the month of November. Female officers are participating through donations and Law Enforcement supporters are welcome to join us as well. If you can't grow facial hair, you can sponsor someone that can, or, make a donation in honor of someone that is currently fighting a cancer that affects his or her health.
All donations from the Beard Patrol will go directly to the mission of the TCF to provide awareness, education and support about testicular cancer.
So…get your grow on, donate, spread the word, and help us raise money and SAVE lives!
We would love to see your progress! Tweet your pictures to @SanAngeloPolice and use the hashtag #SAPDStacheCam!
